CarOlé Flamenco’s Compañía FSDT brings over 20 years of professional experience performing and teaching people of all ages — in venues large and small, from grand theatres to school cafeterias. We bring flamenco & Spanish dance into the community — schools, senior centers, festivals, and neighborhood stages — with love.

CarOlé weaves somatic movement, breathing, and embodiment into her work with every age group — she is a somatic certification candidate in her MFA program.

For schools & youth

Performances, lecture-demonstrations, and workshops for students of all ages. Up front: a program can be one artistic genre, or a blend of them — flamenco, Spanish dance, acting, singing, movement, rhythm, and somatics. We tailor it to you — every program adapts to the age group.

For senior communities

Performances, lecture-demonstrations, somatic movement, and chair flamenco — including gentle, breath-based movement, and flamenco that can be enjoyed right from a chair, for every level of mobility. Joyful and welcoming — made for our elders, wherever they gather.

What we do

From symphonies and operas to intimate venues and community events, the company performs, teaches, and shares flamenco & Spanish dance — shows and one-off engagements, private events, lecture-demonstrations, educational and public school performances, and masterclasses — with remarkable artists in venues large and small. CarOlé also offers private lessons, wedding & quinceañera choreography, and specialty workshops.

Ms. Flamenco lives with complex PTSD, the result of prolonged abuse. She speaks about it openly, as an advocate: it is a disability she carries in the same life as the career, and it does not get the last word.
