CarOlé Flamenco is a professional union actor, singer, and stand-up comedian, and a fifth-generation artist in a Gitano flamenco family legacy since 1894. She works in film, television, commercials, and live theatre, in dramatic and comedic roles. Her film credits include Milk, La vida no vale nada: Life Is Worth Nothing, in which she played Eva Perón, ¡Ay Jose!, Wolf Mother, and Collisions, and voice-over and percussion recordings for Lucasfilm. Jennifer Lopez hand-selected her for ¡Qué Viva! The Chosen. On stage she played Lady Macbeth in The Dark Season, an adaptation of Macbeth, and was a lead actor at the San Francisco Dungeon and in I Love You San Francisco and Chardonnay Comedy at PianoFight. A mezzo-soprano, she trained at American Conservatory Theater and completed the two-year Meisner program with Jim Jarrett, Sanford Meisner’s last teaching protégée. She holds a BA in Theater and Dance from San Francisco State University, and is an MFA candidate in Dance Theatre at Saint Mary’s College of California.

“CarOlé Flamenco is one comedian who feels right at home on stage… she relies on her signature animated and physical style, using her lithe dancer’s body.”

Early Life
Acting, singing, and creating plays were always a love of hers. She started acting in elementary school, and through secondary school she won talent shows in multiple genres. Named class clown twice, she also skipped a grade, and was voted “teacher’s pet” and “most likely to join the circus.” At twenty-two, after intensive training with world-class artists, she became a professional actor, singer, and comedian, three arts that flamenco itself holds.
